Originally crafted this bar for my late, great dad, David Bargโa man whose wisdom and warmth inspired so much of what I create, the Cherry Love Bar is now reborn as a luscious, large filled truffle-style bar infused with botanical alchemy. This bar blends 80% dark raw heirloom organic chocolate sweetened with dates, with sweet-tart sun-dried Rainier, Montgomery, and Bing cherries, then deepens the extra dark cherry-chocolate magic with heart-supportive herbs and superfoods: ceremonial grade matcha, hawthorn, ginkgo biloba, bilberry, turmeric, and pomegranate. A tribute, a tonic, a taste of love.
Cherries occupy a special place in the imagination. They are symbols of summer abundance, of fleeting sweetness, of the preciousness of things that arrive for only a short season before disappearing once more.
Crack through the gleaming shell and discover layers of dark chocolate embracing a vibrant cherry center. Tart and rich, lively and velvety, each bite unfolds in waves. The fruit brings a ruby-bright sparkle while the cacao lends its characteristic gravitas, like a great cello accompanying a soaring violin.
The ladybug is no accident. Across many cultures, ladybugs have been regarded as harbingers of good fortune, reminders that even the smallest creatures can carry a touch of magic.
There is also a touch of playful irony in the name. A bomb is typically associated with disruption, yet this Cherry Bomb detonates only delight - an explosion of cherry, chocolate, and childlike wonder.
Perhaps that is why we create confections at all. Not to satisfy hunger, but to punctuate ordinary days with small moments of surprise. Traditionally, these bars are filled with knafeh (shredded pastry dough - most think it is phyllo but actually it's a unique recipe) toasted in butter, with pistachio, cheese, and syrup.
With GNOfeh, we retain the rich, indulgent flavors while offering deep nourishment. Weโve replaced knafeh with toasted coconut, use pure Sicilian pistachio butter, low glycemic coconut sugar, and envelope it all in raw, organic, artisanal chocolate.

In our reimagining of this classic pâtisserie, the familiar green dome is achieved not with dyed marzipan, but with a smooth white chocolate shell, naturally tinted with spirulina - vibrant, clean, and true to its instantly recognizable silhouette. But the marzipan has been far from replaced - rather it has also been reimagined, and has migrated to the interior where it takes on a central role, standing in for the traditional vanilla sponge cake.
