Truffle freshness for Easter enjoyment!

While our bars, bites, hot chocolate elixirs, and solid eggs and bunnies may be stored at room temperature, our truffles (like most) require a little extra attention.

Generally, chocolate is best stored between 55 - 65°f with a humidity level between 50-60% and away from light. In these conditions, your chocolate experience will remain exquisite for several months. Different truffles have varying degrees of shelf stability (dark ganaches retain their flavor much longer than fruity or nut butter bases), but if kept in these conditions, your truffles will last up to 1 month.

While a refrigerator will do in the absence of a wine cooler, which provides the ideal conditions, it is important to keep in mind that odors from the refrigerator can be absorbed and affect the flavor of your chocolate.

Therefore, to protect your truffles from humidity and scents from within your fridge, please pop them straight into your fridge within an airtight container upon delivery.

Please bring your truffles to room temperature when ready to enjoy!

An important note on delivery to warm climates:

While our complimentary ice, insulation, and shipping schedule will ensure your chocolates arrive in perfect condition, we must ask you to partner up with us to ensure this level of care is carried out past your doorstep! Please, keep an eye on your tracking number and make sure to ship to an address where your chocolate (especially truffles!) are not left in the heat.

Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any questions whatsoever!
Warmly,
Chocolate Girl & Mamma Wonka
