Gnosis has always been at the forefront of innovation in natural sweeteners. We were among the first to craft chocolate with agave, then pioneered the use of pure stevia without fillers, and were the first to launch coconut sugar sweetened chocolate to the U.S. market.
Now, we continue this legacy by offering date-sweetened chocolate. Dates, nature's most ancient sweetener, are rich in nutrients and offer a harmony - sophisticated in its simplicity - between indulgence and wellness, elevating chocolate into a source of both sensory and nutritional richness.
It’s impossible to say what this part of the world will look like in the centuries to come, or what sort of people will be bustling around at ground level, eating, quarrelling and telling each other stories. Since the first bar of chocolate I made for the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in 2006, Gnosis has grown 100% organically by word of mouth. We believe a company should invest only in the quality and integrity of its work - not in paid advertising. Our customers become our valued ambassadors!
We partner with mother nature and small producers to bring you what we like to call botanical alchemy: functional chocolate. In fact, we visited our sources and were a founding member of the Heirloom Cacao Preservation Fund. We support Herbalists Without Borders, and believe access to herbal medicine and education on preventative wellness is our birthright.
We make our chocolate with Love, by hand, gift wrap every order, and use only clean, whole, organic, low-glycemic, vegan ingredients (no gluten, dairy, soy, peanuts, or GMO) and heirloom cacao beans sourced with great care.
