Shipping is FREE for all domestic orders over $75 (flat rate $9.75 under).

All orders ship via Priority Mail by the chocolatier’s mom Aida, aka Mamma Wonka. She always checks the weather and makes sure to include ice and insulation wherever necessary. This is complimentary, as are her beautiful gift-wrapping and gift notes!

Preparing Your Order

You’ll receive an email with tracking information once we begin working on your order!

We make and package every product 100% by hand, which means you're getting the freshest chocolate - made with love in micro batches.

It also means that lead time depends on which items we have on hand at the time your order is placed, and how many of your items need to be made to order. Sometimes, we can ship the same day your order is placed and sometimes we need to make every item you’ve ordered before it can ship, which can take 3-5 business days.

We truly appreciate your patience, and invite you to please include your specific delivery date or special arrangements (ie: for a holiday, birthday, wedding, anniversary, event, or any other such celebration) in the notes sectionat checkout!

*We guarantee that your chocolate will be in perfect condition upon arrival, but cannot be responsible if you are not home when it arrives. We hope you also understand that we cannot be responsible for tardiness (USPS issues are out of our hands). Our default shipping method is Priority Mail, and we have had over 90% delivery success for shipment throughout all seasons! Express Mail is, of course, the fastest and most guaranteed method.

Warm Weather Shipping

Chocolate melts in your mouth - that’s one of the very best things about it! But that means it also melts in the heat, and that’s a little trickier. But have no fear! We include reusable insulation & ice packs (biodegradable where possible!) completely free of charge! 

We monitor temperature and schedule shipments around weekends to ensure our bundles of joy will arrive safe & sound! If your order won't arrive by Friday, we'll wait & ship Monday to safeguard against sitting in a hot post office. We know waiting for chocolate is so difficult (!) but shipping on a careful schedule is how we have such an excellent delivery success rate all summer.

OUR MELT-FREE GUARANTEE:

We guarantee your chocolates will arrive in perfect condition as long as someone is present at the delivery address to immediately bring the chocolate in from the heat! We stand behind this 100% for any size order, and will offer you a full refund OR a rain check of 5% more than your order!

We ask only that you;
1. please read everything on this page
2. inspect your chocolate immediately upon arrival
3. email a photo of any issue within 5 minutes of delivery to urgent@gnosischocolate.com

I recommend signing up for text or email alerts from USPS so you can keep on top of your chocolate’s transit to you! If no one will be home, some of our ChocoLovers ship to an office or a neighbor (one you can trust to refrain from eating everything!)

We’re not happy until you are! We believe the only way a business merits existence is through integrity, quality, and servicing happy customers! Of course there are certain things I can’t be held responsible for - we will discuss on a case-by-case basis depending on whether there was something we fudged!

If we fudged, please let us know right away! Email me a photo of whatever you find to be wrong with your order and know that if I made an error, I'll do everything I can to rectify the matter. The joy of our ChocoLovers is of ultimate importance to me! 

We have a very small team here so please allow a little time for a reply. As we are back & forth between the office & kitchen, elbow-deep in chocolate, email is best! If you seek a reply urgently please email urgent@gnosischocolate.com


Teamwork makes the Dream Work!

While our ice, insulation, and shipping schedule will ensure your chocolates arrive in perfect condition, please partner up with us by letting us know when you need the chocolates (and not waiting till the very last minute if possible!), keeping an eye on your tracking info, and making sure someone is home to bring your delivery upon arrival! As with all food deliveries, if no one is home when USPS arrives, your chocolate may be left outside where it may be stolen, eaten by animals, or melt! If no one will be home at usual USPS delivery time, we can ship to a different address - your work or a trustworthy neighbor, perhaps! We have >99% delivery success rate to everywhere from Hawaii to Vanuatu… please be sure you’ve entered in an address where someone will be present to receive the delivery! We strongly recommend that you sign up for text alerts from USPS.
