Vanessa's aim is to help her clients and customers learn more about nourishing themselves with the healthiest foods available, and to shift the market place towards a higher awareness of health and environment. In the last 1.5 years, Gnosis chocolate has grown organically into a conscious corporation that spreads its chocolatey goodness to chocolate lovers all over the world - from local stores in New York and Connecticut to New Zealand! Without Mamma Wonka, Gnosis Chocolate would not exist. Mother, teacher, and inspirer to Chocolate Girl, Mamma Wonka has generously given her profound and intuitive energy, time, and love to help Gnosis grow. She handled all the bookkeeping, accounting, and overall good vibes here at Gnosis Chocolate.

Mamma Wonka has moved to Rome, Italy in 2008. She is directing the study abroad program for the architecture students of Notre Dame University. We all miss her daily presence, but even from across the ocean, she works for Gnosis and visits often to fulfill her duties as Mamma Wonka. She has supported me through every step of this journey and for that I am infinitely grateful. Congratulations Mamma, and all the success, happiness, joy, freedom, and peace to you! Thank you for everything....

Lauren Gockley, Head Chocolatier

Lauren is the most incredible chocolatier! Classically trained by chocolatiers in France, Lauren is incorporating her profound understanding of chocolate-making with her growing knowledge of superfoods and nutrition. She is currently studying at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and will soon become a Certified Holistic Health Counselor! Congratulations, Lauren! Lauren's palatte is exquisite, and her passion for health, nutrition, and high quality cuisine is allowing Gnosis' flavors to become more and more refined. Lauren works directly with Chocolate Girl to develop new flavors more and more - almost every week now! We are so blessed to have you on the team, Lauren!

Pauline, Office Manager

Pauline is the master of certificates and is spear-heading and completing Gnosis Chocolate's process of certifications: Vegan, Organic, Gluten Free, Kosher, and Halal. This has been a major task and we are nearing the end! Pauline is also a student of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and will be a Certified Holistic Health Counselor in 2009! Eva, Wise Oompa Loompa & Soap Maker

Eva has been with Team Gnosis for over a year and is a joy to work with! Founder of Soapistication, Eva is teaming up with Gnosis Body Care to bring you hand crafted soaps made with chocolate and superfoods! Eva will be coming into the kitchen full time this summer and we are so happy to have her! Thank you Eva for your creations! And we look forward to developing the whole body care line with you!

Kevin Melville, Cool, Calm & Collected Oompa Loompa

We are so lucky to have Kevin - we kind of stole him from the FDNY in 2008! In a company full of women, Kevin holds it down for the dudes and represents an amazing sector of masculine energy. No matter how busy the kitchen gets, Kevin always keeps his cool! He will make the most amazing Fire Man one day ~ Kevin is so smart, quick, reliable, and fun to be around ~ but for the meantime, he works with us in the Kitchen and we Love him!

Sarah Gross, Assistant Manager

Sarah is known as Chocolate Chica by friends. She has been a vegan for ten years and is a dancer and certified Pilates Instructor. At Gnosis, Sarah is spearheading our Expansion Program and works on the development of Gnosis' image, PR, and operating procedures. Sarah also has a fine palette and is the creator of our Fleur de Sel Bar.
