Customer Service Specialist
We're looking for a full-time Customer Service Specialist to join Team Gnosis!

Skills and Qualities
Inclination to the organic, raw, eco, vegan, holistic lifestyle and experience in the food/natural health industry is highly valued. Substantial administrative, customer service, and sales experience is necessary for this position. Knowledge of QuickBooks and/or Salesforce is also preferable, as is experience and comfort with working on a team. We prize those with a mature, developed sense of responsibility and commitment, a strong work ethic, and a passion for doing things right.
The position also requires a hard and dedicated worker who initiates, makes suggestions, and doesn't watch the clock or run his/her Facebook page in the background. We're looking for a people person who has consciously developed an open, non-defensive outlook towards work, relationships, and life. A skilled team player with first class interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening), our newest team member can prioritize and multitask within tight, often-shifting deadlines without stressing, master new duties quickly, and bring a positive attitude and sense of humor to the office.
Our newest team member is highly organized, detail-oriented, punctual, consistent, systems-oriented, and has a passion for precision and doing things right. S/he is dedicated to health, well-being, personal, and societal growth, and wants to help shift the marketplace towards shelves filled only with high integrity products.
Key Responsibilities
* Phone/email followup with wholesale and retail customers re: product information, shipping details, customer satisfaction, etc
* Order processing / invoice creation via Quickbooks and our online shopping cart;
* Inventory management & coordination with production team
* IT troubleshooting and assisting with our website;
* Arranging logistics and preparing materials for demonstrations, events, and conferences;
* General administrative duties & office maintainance

OPPORTUNITIES IN THE KITCHEN
Assembly Assistant
Assembly and kitchen assistant needed by fast growing raw chocolate company in Long Island City; high energy, clean working environment. Responsible for order fulfillment, including hand packing chocolate products, and preparation of packages for shipping (involves moderate lifting). Also reponsible for assisting our Head Chocolatier with preparation of ingredients and pouring of chocolate. Other responsibilities: kitchen and workplace cleanup, receiving and shelving supplies and ingredients. Dependable, organized team player with strong work ethic. Ready to pitch in as needed. Full-time, hourly wage.
