The Enwhitened bar is one of the best things I've ever tasted! I have to ration my husband or he would eat the whole bar in one sitting. I'm not a big white chocolate fan, but this is so much better than white chocolate, with the addition of cashew. I would eat Enwhitened over dark chocolate, and that's saying something! I love the concept of raw, but until I tried your chocolate, I didn't realize it would affect taste so much. Your chocolate certainly tastes like chocolate, but is different, in a very pleasant, not overly processed way. Love the chocolate mint. Look forward to trying the other flavors. While watching a YouTube video, the speaker started raving about the BEST chocolate ever. Well, I had to listen up and he went on saying Gnosis is so excellent. That was about five years ago and it really is the best!

I am a big fan of your chocolate, both because of its full, dark taste, and because it is one of the few chocolates that does not send my system out of whack. I have gluten intolerance and a severe soy allergy, as well as a long lineage of diabetes in the family, which makes me extremely sensitive to sugar (reactive hypoglycemia).

We recently adopted a more health-conscious lifestyle, which launched us on a quest for the best RAW chocolate ever! We’ve tried quite a few raw chocolate products, but only Gnosis was the “perfect fit”. From the cacao flavor profile (we prefer dark, bold cacao beans - as opposed to fruity or acidic or floral beans); to the inclusion of such ingredients as hemp, cayenne and chili peppers, and pink Himalayan salt which all contribute to nutritional value; to the use of raw, low-glycemic sweeteners; we cannot ask for more. And as though your products were not good enough to sell themselves, the Gnosis team raises the customer service benchmark to levels unknown!! I heard about Gnosis chocolates via a radio interview. I was intrigued and ordered a bunch, really just by faith! I felt a connection with Jennifer and wanted to try them. I have not been disappointed. I brought them to work and shared with coworkers whom are also concerned about healthy eating. First off, Gnosis chocolate is delicious. When I discovered them last year at the show, I spent half a day's wages on bars for holiday stocking stuffers. I had been making my "specialty" for a while with some 2-year old raw Gnosis cocoa that I had stretched as long as I could. The drink includes blended frozen banana, almond milk, peanut butter, cinnamon, honey, ice, and of course, cocoa. Upon receiving my brand new raw Gnosis cocoa yesterday, I promptly made the drink without realizing that three heaping tablespoons of (fresh) cocoa for two people was a LOT! It was absolutely delicious, but my husband and I literally had to lie down, both of our hearts racing. We'd never experienced a chocolate overdose before! I think it only made our addiction stronger. We had chocolate cake today...

the first bar i have tried from you guys was the immunity bar. i have not eaten any chocolate for over 16 years because of horrifically sick (i mean near hospital worthy) conventional cooked chocolate made me when i was younger. i have literally every allergy, am extremely sensitive so organic food is an absolute must, predominantly vegan diet (i can only tolerate occasional wild salmon) and finding food of intense quality is very difficult for me. i began having a series of dreams about my body suddenly needing chocolate desperately (which confused me greatly) and i went to whole foods looking around for something that could possibly work for this sudden need my body had, i never ignore these needs. i found the immunity bar, and after reading everything on it several times and upon trying it i nearly cried. this was quite possibly the best thing i have eaten in a long long time and with how health conscious i am, and how stringent i need to be about my allergies and digestive issues, eating this and NOT being sick was downright incredible. i've now eaten a few immunity bars in the last 2 weeks and have had dramatic health improvements in such a short time period. the combinations you are doing in these bars is somehow working a miracle in my body in every conceivable way. i've actually had people stopping me asking me what have i been eating because i look so much better, like my musculature has improved and my skin and the list goes on and on.

I purchashed one of your chocolate bars last week at Brad Raw Foods open house. As a dark chocolate lover, health fanatic and IIN graduate last month, I just had to let you know that this is the best chocolate I have ever purchased. When I first looked up Gnosis chocolate last September, yes after the IIN conference, I thought the chocolate was rather expensive. However, after tasting your chocolate which I am still rationing today, I have to tell you it is worth every penny. I also love your commitment to the environment and preserving our remaining resources. It is not very often you come across a company with integrity that you can feel comfortable supporting. Good luck and I will be purchasing more of your delicious chocolate soon.

I am a chocoholic, oh yes I am, but how to keep this habit a healthy one? Enter Gnosis
Chocolate—vegan, gluten-free, raw, AND low-glycemic! Even with all this, they
taste delectable! Now these chocolates are sweetened with agave, so I was
delighted to learn they are offering a “sweet choice” of coconut sugar in lieu
of agave: basically the same flavor with two options for sweetener: agave or
coconut sugar. In the name of science—and my excited tastebuds—I decided to
take the challenge of trying BOTH sweet choices! Oh be still, my heart! The
flavors I tried were Gratitude (vanilla hazelnut), Mayan Heat (chili) and Rejuvenate
(pomegranate-acai). I liked the original agave for these, so I wanted to see
how the new kid, coconut, would compare.

The first I tried was the Mayan Heat.
I excitedly tear open the wrapper to get to the chocolate. Xocolat: food for
the gods; with the chili, berries and nuts, it is indeed ambrosia. I break off
a square, touch it, sniff it, eye it, and only then do I pop it into my mouth
to let its flavors roll into my tongue. Chocolate is indeed a multi-sensory
celebration of the senses.

I start with the new coconut sugar option, as
indicated not only by the ingredient list but by the little green coconut trees
on the package. The chocolate snaps crisp, it smells like chili and burnt sugar
and dark velvet night. I pop one in, and the flavors come in real subtly, all
robed in the dark crystal sweetness of the coconut sugar. The chili comes as a
slow burn throughout, punctuated first by the black currants, then the soft
pecans. I would pair this with a dark roast coffee, or a full-bodied red wine.

I then try the agave. Like an old flame, it
still invites me. The chocolate breaks with a sigh, a bit more of a give. It
smells of ritual and dark treacle and tart berries. I taste it, and the flavors
come languidly in but all at once, like a fiery fudge. I taste the pecans, then
the black currants, with the chili enrobing it all. For the agave, I would go
for a medium roast coffee, and a sweet port.

The Mayan Heat is my favorite; however chocolate
is still queen of my heart, and she has other flavors besides. I next try the
Pomegranate-Acai in coconut sugar. Sure enough, it snaps clean. I taste more
tartness, with the sweet burnt sugar somehow reminiscent of the sugarcane
fields I visited in my youth in the Philippines, the tassels waving the summer
breeze. I would love this with maybe a Muscat.

I then try the agave version of the
Pomegranate-Acai. The agave gives its softer texture, more treacly sweetness. I
taste the acai here, but sweeter. I would maybe try a nice prosecco or
champagne with this: bubbles with berries!

Then for a more classic flavor, I try the
Vanilla Hazelnut. As always, I try the new kid on the block first, coconut
sugar. I’m loving that crisp break now as I snap off a square from its partner
inside. The coconut sugar Vanilla Hazelnut is darker, more subtle, and I taste
the hazelnuts prominently. This would be pretty good with a cup of chicory coffee.

However, to compare, I try the agave version,
and this…this reminds me of Ferrero Rocher, a childhood favorite, but now SO
much better, and without dairy, or transfats, or rancid oils, and so much
FRESHER! The agave just brings it all together somehow: the hazelnut, vanilla,
raw chocolate all melt in my mouth with the agave tasting like delicious
almost-can’t-believe-it’s-good-for-me syrup. SO, so good. This would be great with a port....while soaking in a bubble bath. Ah, bliss.

Yes, I love chocolate, and I will be the first
to spout off the improbability of me allergic to it, and instead point to how
healthy it can be! And I am glad I am not the only chocoholic health nut out
there: thank you, Gnosis for fresh, healthy chocolate manna.

I had occasion to try five of your flavors of chocolate. I decided I would savor them by eating only a small piece at a time so I would have them to eat for awhile. Here's what I think about them.

Supercounselor was a gift. Thank you very much! It has Goji berries in it. I am not particularly a fan of candied fruit, so I wasn't real sure about it, but I took a bite, and it didn't seem like candied fruit at all! The berries added a subtle twist that I found quite nice. I don't need to invoke various religions to enjoy this one! I broke my resolve and ate the whole thing in one sitting.

ZeroG Stability is pure chocolate sweetened only with Stevia, so no calories from sugars. It is a little on the bitter side. I like chocolate to be a little bitter, though this was slightly more than my personal taste. Probably because of the Stevia, it left a slightly sweet aftertaste, not bitter.

I think Madagascar was my favorite. It has a slight bite to it from the pepper. Very nice! Just enough to give it interest, but not overpower the other flavors.

I liked the crunchy nibs in Grenada. The nutmeg is also great. I like the fact you put blue-green algae in several of these.

Coco Almond Endurance also has little nutty chunks in it. Almond is nutritious and also good for what ails me. I especially like all the coconut ingredients; in fact, I think I like the coconut palm sugar the best of your sweeteners.

All in all, a command performance. Encore!

Just had to leave a note that I was so surprised and excited to find some gnosis chocolate in my local health food store! I bought a mint bar and a almond coconut bar, and while the mint is good, the almond coconut blew my mind! I absolutely love it and will be going back to stock up. I'm sure I'll end up ordering from here, too, as the selection was limited in store. Gnosis chocolate is the perfect thing for my sweet tooth! Thank you!

Chocolate Girl,as you know I have loved your chocolate for years, but I had to tell you:, My box arrived today, - I went right for the Golden Egg, of course. Wow, I cannot believe the subtlety and depth of flavor your acheived, I will be ordering more soon! A little later, I tried the EnWhitenment Bar. I was literally blown away by the ecstasy of that experience. The end all and be all of raw white chocolate, well, I'm sure you know. I have not tried the others yet but had to write immediately, I was so impressed! Too bad I missed your easter truffles, that made me sad.
And of course, thank you SOOO much for the Aphrodisia Elixir! - You have made me very happy, this is the best-tasting psychoactive cacao drink I have had, maybe ever. I will be drinking it every day.

After having been able to sample them all I can surely say that all of the chocolates were quite lovely, thank you! The egg had a cinnamon/eggnog taste at first, but then I got a sense of the 'peanut butter cup' that it was probably modeled after. The truffles were all quite lovely and fruity, I think, personally, I enjoyed the hibiscus acai the best, there was just something about it....but the vanilla berry was lovely and tart, sort of how I imagine lady fingers to taste like, and the superberry was tangy and fruity. Overall, you have a superb product, and I cannot wait to try more.

Met you guys at the Chocolate Festival in NYC a couple years ago. It was the most awesome and amazing surprise to taste such fabulous raw chocolate!
