GO GOJI Berry

Goji berries are a superfood considered by experts in Traditional Chinese Medicine to be the #1 food-herb due to its enormous number of health benefits including vitamins, trace minerals, and antioxidants.

These sun-dried berries, which have a delightful chewy consistency, have phenomenal anti-aging properties and are said to have helped one man, Li Qing Yuen, live to 252-years-old!

Goji Berries help the body to naturally produce and release Human Growth Hormone (HGH), which counteracts the negative effects of aging. Improved strength and sexual vitality are other benefits of consuming Goji Berries. The Goji Berry is a complete protein source, containing 18 different amino acids (including all 8 essential amino acids) and has an amazing antioxidant content 2-4 times that of blueberries!

Further benefits include:

  • Goji Berries contain 21 trace minerals and vitamins B1, B2, B6, and E.
  • Mature fruits contain blood-building iron, beta-sisterol (an anti-inflammatory agent), linoleic acid (an essential fatty acid), anti-aging sesquiterpenoids, antioxidant tetraterpenoids, and liver-healing betaine.
  • They contain polysaccharides which fortify the immune system.

Use goji berries from our Organic bulk shop in this brilliant berry smoothie recipe, in trail mixes, salads, any dessert, and the straight hand-to-mouth recipe! So delightful!

1 Cup soaked goji berries
1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
2 bananas (fresh or frozen)
2 teaspoons cacao powder
1-2 cups almond or hemp milk
a few tablespoons of your favorite superfoods!

Combine all ingredients is a strong blender and blend until smooth. Note: you can soak the goji berries first to make them blend better. Makes 2 large servings.

OK Goji berries is where it's at now. I didn't know anything about them prior to reading your post. Now, I want to go get some. It seems like Acai and Mangostein were the big thrillers, but now I see that Goji berries are even better. What do they taste like? I've never had any before.

My mum told me about Goji berries after watching a TV program on their benefits. I live and work in Victoria and bought some yesterday...I am looking forward to enjoying the many positive benefits associated with Goji berries, especially the extra energy...Thanks
